Remember halogen floodlights? They were okay but not exactly reliable and the high running costs and short lamp life meant getting the ladders out a little too often.

Welcome to the future:

LED these wide beam (110°) floodlights use LED chips arranged in an array. They do not generate the heat associated with halogen and they have an operating life of around 50x that of the explosion prone filament lamp.
