Design and Style
This compact lozenge-shaped bulkhead light is formed from solid brass and fitted with a prismatic glass diffuser that is ribbed internally and smooth on the outer surface. The eyelid design directs light downwards while shielding from glare, making it effective in both practical and decorative applications. Compared with butterfly-bolt versions, this fitting has a cleaner, more contemporary appearance thanks to its screw-secured front. The fitting is available in natural brass, antique brass, and satin nickel. The satin finish is achieved through electroplating over solid brass, while the antique variant is chemically aged to develop a weathered appearance. The natural brass version is unlacquered and will gradually oxidise.

Usage
Well suited to outdoor use, the fitting is rated IP64 and frequently installed on walls, garden structures, entranceways, and steps. Indoors, it works well on exposed brick walls, staircases, and in bathrooms or wet areas. The glare-reducing eyelid and warm glow of a filament-style LED lamp create subtle, atmospheric pools of light, while the robust construction ensures reliability in both residential and commercial settings.

Constructed entirely from solid brass, the fitting is built for long service life. The cover is fixed in place using large Phillips-head screws for a secure and tamper-resistant finish. The prismatic glass diffuser helps spread light evenly while adding visual texture. Cable entry is via a compression gland on one side, which can be positioned left or right depending on the installation. Rear entry is possible by drilling through the backplate and using a suitable gasket to maintain the IP rating.

Designed for E27 base mains lamps. Use LED lamps for extended life and lower energy costs.
