Design and Style
This outdoor spike light is a mains-powered fitting designed for GU10 lamps. The cylindrical body in textured black is fitted with an adjustable head, allowing precise light direction. A sturdy ground spike is included, making installation easy in lawns, borders, or gravel, but you can leave this off if you want to fix these lights to fence panels or garden structures.

Usage
This fitting is designed to be wired directly into an outdoor circuit, typically via an IP-rated junction box or enclosure. The 250cm rubberised cable is supplied with bare wire ends and is typically installed into a waterproof junction box. It is not supplied with a 3-pin plug, although one can be fitted if used with a suitable weatherproof socket.

The fitting takes a standard GU10 mains lamp, so there’s no need for transformers or LED drivers. Simply choose the lamp that suits your needs, warm white for soft garden lighting, cool white for highlighting, or coloured lamps for feature areas.
